What is Image Optimization or image alt text?

Image optimization are the basic steps for your SEO campaign. As the Search Engines are getting smarter and more intelligent, the process of achieving a good search ranking is getting more complex. Now it takes much more than just quality content to get to the top. 

The short answer is, it’s the text that the search engine uses to understand images.

To include it, you simply add alt="this is your alt text" to your image tag. Here’s an example:
